Bio
Sarah Rostamo is a multimedia artist who lives and teaches in Denver, CO. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design in spring of 2019. Her work is currently focused in painting and digital media. Her art is comprised of abstract, living symbols and maps of metaphysical spaces that explore within and without. The marks and subjects are organic, simultaneously growing and decaying, and imbued with a curious reverence and mysterious intention. Formally, the paintings echo found relics, cave paintings and sigil magick, and focus on line inspired by natural structures and ornamental design, as well as on limited depth and color palettes. In her digital work, Sarah further explores conscious, intelligent networks with a transhumanist spirit.
